This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive knowledge of the Financial Services Industry to join my client, a global leader in insurance, asset management and financial service products. This is a permanent full time position working for the company’s UK operation in Canary Wharf, London.
The role of Distributions Director is key to the strategic placement of the company in its International marketplace. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing all aspects of strategic relationships with key distributors and will be required to define new strategic commercially viable relationships to ensure the company is positioned appropriately to meet the ever changing needs of the UK marketplace.
As Distributions Director you will be responsible for a team of 12 and will need to have an in depth knowledge of the market dynamics affecting distribution of the company’s products including competitive and distributor intelligence. Key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing all relationships with the support of direct reports
• Developing and promoting appropriate commercial arrangements to further develop and build relationships
• Identify and secure new relationships with key distributors
• Understanding key drivers in UK market and new opportunities
To be considered for this position you will need to have at least 10 years financial services experience, demonstrable commercial acumen, excellent people management skills and strong communication skills. Ideally you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), although this is not essential.
