Full Description:
Senior Test Engineer required for a global aerospace company to ensure that the test equipment design meets all of the product testing and test coverage requirements. Interfaces to match production test equipment capabilities to product test requirements will need to be designed, procured and commissioned.

• The creation of test specifications and documentation for a variety of development projects
• Procurement of test equipment to meet development engineering requirements
• Work with the production test team to ensure that development tests equipment evolves into the production test equipment
• Work with engineering development teams to ensure appropriate test coverage
• Documentation of test requirements, test coverage and test methods
• Development of test scripts for development testing
• Ensure that development test scripts can be use for production testing
• Design, procurement and commissioning of test interface equipment
• Work with production test team to identify and develop future test capabilities
• Mentor and develop engineering test team members

Job Requirements: Experienced test engineer, electronics degree or similar, analogue and digital electronics design experience, experience of programming in a modern high level language, use of simulation tools for electronic circuits, understanding of test distributions and statistics, CAD skills
schematic capture and mechanical drawing. Other desirable requirements: Readiness to travel, six sigma experience, lean manufacturing knowledge and chartered engineer.
