£16,950 - £38,950 for Permanent Full Time Posts (pro-rata for fractional)
£21.59 per hour for Sessional Tutors / £14.66 per hour for Sessional Trainers
Our Client is currently the largest national Provider of Offender Learning in the UK; our highly qualified employees are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across England 52 weeks a year.
The aim of the Directorate is to lead, manage and develop provision in order to reduce re-offending and contribute to social inclusion by providing a wealth of curricula experiences including a core curriculum of Skills for Life, Personal and Social Development and work related training.

Deputy OLASS Managers x2 Full Time £28,450 - £38,950 At HMP Standford Hill (1) / HMP Swaleside (1)
As directed by the OLASS Manager, effectively plan and manage the deployment of staff and resources, in line with our Client’s policies and procedures, to deliver a high quality learning experience. Deputise for the OLASS Manager in their absence.
Curriculum Team Leaders x2 Full Time £27,450 - £31,450 At HMP Elmley (ICT) / HMP Standford Hill (VT)
As directed by a manager, to teach and to provide supervision of a curriculum delivery team, ensuring that all budget, quality and operational targets are achieved, in line with our Client’s policies and procedures.
Trainers (1x Bricklaying / 1x Motor Mechanics / 1x Hairdressing) Full Time £22,450 - £28,450 at HMP Elmley
As directed by a manager or Curriculum Team Leader, to deliver high quality, learner focused vocational training to meet contractual requirements and Awarding Body standards, in line with our Client’s policies and procedure.
Tutors (Full Time and Fractional) £22,450 - £27,450
HMP Elmley 2.5x ICT and 0.4 (14.8 hrs/week) Ready Steady Work

Learning Support Practitioners (VT) Full time £16,950 - £18,950 x2 at HMP Elmley and x1 at HMP Standford Hill
To promote progression and independent learning by delivering high quality, learner-focused support to meet contractual, H&S requirements and standards, in line with our Client’s policies and procedures. Contribute to managing the behaviour of individual learners by using engaging and inclusive learning experiences and de-escalation methods.
Student Support Workers Full time £16,950 - £18,950 x1 at HMP Elmley and x1 at HMP Swaleside
As directed by the SENCo or OLASS Manager to ensure, via appropriate assessment, that prospective and existing learners receive relevant and easily understood information regarding learning and skills provision and continuing support. To contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach that seeks to facilitate a smooth transition to the resettlement of the learner into the community.
They are also seeking Sessional Tutor and Sessional Trainer applications in subject areas including, but not limited to Business Enterprise, ICT, Literacy & Numeracy, Key Skills, Personal & Social Development, ESOL, Learning Support, Customer Service, Preparation for Work, Horticulture, Barbering & Hairdressing, Construction, Motor Mechanics, Industrial Cleaning and Hospitality & Catering.
To succeed within these roles, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non judgmental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
Please note that all salaries specified are the full time salaries and any part-time (fractional) roles will have the appropriate pro-rata salary.
