Job Description

Exciting temporary Learning Support Assistant roles to work in childcare and education settings within London.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• €¢ To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment

• €¢ The candidate applying must be competent working with children who have special educational needs on a daily basis

• €¢ To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in the nursery

• €¢ To work in partnership with the parents

• €¢ To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery

• €¢ To work closely alongside SENCO co-ordinators

• €¢ Must be able to commit to long term assignments

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• €¢ Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – Desirable but not essential

• €¢ Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent - Desirable but not essential

• €¢ SENCO trained- Desirable but not essential

• €¢ Must have experience working with children who have special educational needs.
