Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an Aerospace company that designs and builds complex satellite communication systems.
This is opening is for a Senior Satellite Communications Architect.
The architect will design, specify and procure TTC and data transmission subsystems.
Technical Skills required:-
A thorough understanding of-
- Relevant international standards (ECSS, CCDS, EIA etc).
- Data bus architecture and protocols (MIL, CAN, Spacewire, etc).
- Modulation and encoding schemes, compression, packetisation, etc.
- Analogue and digital electrical interface standards.
- Electromagnetic modelling structures.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Prime Contractor organisation is forseen.
- A knowledge of UHF and Microwave communication systems would be advantageous.
