Job Description
Reference Data Business Analyst with experience with implementation/Data Management/Software Database.
Skills required The Reference Data Business Analyst should be able to help implement and build the first part of a Reference Data database solution at a major UK based Investment Bank.
Working in a small team of initially 2/3 but building to 10/12. The candidate needs to have VBA and/or SQL skills and a good business background in data management and/or with any derivative or workflow experience.
The ideal Reference Data Business Analyst will have investment banking and or vendor experience in the financial services industry. Sell side (investment banks) a plus and good at understanding user s needs as this is the initial part of the project.
Solid experience with reference and or market data either operational or technical some key data types to have been involved in would include: Pricing, Valuation, Product Master, Data Master, Issuer Data, and Security Data
Some prior roles could include Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, and Data Analyst
Other skills ideally:
Data modeling
Technical analysis
