Provide technical account management input to enable underwriting of profitable commercial insurance business to meet the Commercial strategy and business objectives. Manage effective monitoring, review and development of the classes of business to achieve monthly key performance indicators. Ensure that Commercial Underwriting account management and underwriting guidelines are set for the liability and contract works classes of the Commercial account, in conjunction with the Commercial Underwriting Manager and other senior Commercial team members.
You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and relationship buildings skills in order to interact with internal and external people at all levels.
Numerical proficiency sufficient to deal with account analysis, pricing reviews, expense evaluation and underwriting.
Have in depth underwriting experience in all liability and contract works classes of insurance equally, and experience across a wide variety of products and trades. In addition some knowledge of Property and Pecuniary, Personal Accident, Goods in Transit and Fidelity Guarantee classes of insurance preferable.
